STANLEY EUGENE HANCOCK

          Stanley Eugene Hancock, 62, of Houston died of cancer Monday at
home.  Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Laurel Hill Cemetery
in Des Moines.
          Mr. Hancock was born in Des Moines and lived in Texas for 15
years.  He was a self-employed builder and an Air Force veteran of the
Korean War.
          Survivors include his parents, Larry and Maxine Hancock of
Waterloo; and a brother, Don Hancock of Altoona.
          The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at
Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines.  Memorial contributions may be made
to the American Cancer Society.
