SARAH JANE (STOCKER) REED-ROBB

          Mrs. Sarah Jane Robb, 84, formerly of Ottumwa, died at the
Anderson nursing home at Altoona at 1:56 p.m. Sunday.  She had been there
for eight weeks.
          She was the Daughter of Thomas J. And Frances Wallace Stocker,
and was born in Wapello county November 16, 1871.  She was a member of the
Methodist church.
          Surviving are one son, Burley Reed of Ottumwa; two daughters,
Mrs. Ella Strong and Mrs. Margaret Johnson, both of Des Moines; seven
grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; one
brother, William E. Stocker of Warsaw, Ill., and one sister, Mrs. Walter
Peck of Corvallis, Ore.
          She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ira Reed, in
1895, and by her second husband, Lee Robb, in 1949.
          Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the
Johnson funeral chapel, in charge of the Rev. W. B. Friend of the
Pentecostal Church of God.  Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
