RACHAEL HANCOCK

          Mrs. Isaac Hancock, mother of N. J. Hancock of this city, died at
the home of her daughter Mrs. H. S. Brown, at 3:45 o'clock this morning. 
Mrs Hancock was 75 years old at the time of her death.  She was a highly
respected member of the community in which she lived, and was loved by all
who knew her.
          Mrs. Hancock is survived by seven children, five sons and two
daughters, and twenty-eight grandchildren.  The sons and daughters are:
David of Brashear, Mo.: Mrs H. S. Brown of near Wayland, Mont.: Willard and
Ed of Montrose; Mrs. Clara Brown of Summitville, and N. J. Hancock of
Keokuk.  Mrs. Hancock's husband died six years ago.
          The funeral services will be held from the Presbyterian church at
Summitville Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock.
