MARGIE T. HANCOCK

          Margie T. Hancock, 70, of 2254 E. Grand Ave. died of a heart
ailment Friday at home.  Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's
Funeral Home, with burial at Warren-Powers Cemetery in Runnells.
          Mrs. Hancock was born in Adelphi and lived in Des Moines most of
her life.  She was a homemaker.
          She is survived by her husband, Ralph; two daughters, Sally Elder
and Sue Burkman, both of Des Moines; a son, Mike of Des Moines; two
sisters, Phoebe Gordon of Des Moines and Joy Justus of Johnston; two
brothers, Bruce Tyler of Des Moines and Bud Tyler of Ankeny; nine
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
          Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
