LODINA DELL HANCOCK

          Mrs. Lodina Dell Hancock, 82, of 631 Monroe died Monday afternoon
at 3:05 in Blessing Hospital.
          Mrs. Hancock was born at Edina, MO 28 September, 1871.  Her
parents were Harrison S. And Nancy Ann Campbell Bodkin.  Her first marriage
was to Harry Lear, who preceeded her in death.  A Son, Harry Lear Jr., also
preceeded her.
          On October 30, 1898, she married Isaac Newton Hancock, who died
February 10, 1933.  Mrs. Hancock came to Quincy in 1917 and was a member of
St. James Lutheran Church and the Ladies' Aid Society.  Surviving are two
sons, Estle G. Hancock of Quincy and Frank Vernon Hancock of San Diego, two
grandsons Vernon and Charles Lear; seven great grandchildren, and a sister,
Mrs. Charles Eyler of Baring, MO.  A grandson, Donald G. Hancock, was
killed during World War II.
