ESTLE GLEN HANCOCK

          Estle Glen Hancock, 60, of 1037 Adams died Sunday night at 11:40
in Blessing hospital, where he was admitted five hours earlier.
          Mr. Hancock was manager of the Canton-Quincy Auto Supply company
at Seventeenth and Broadway.  Before that he was a salesman for the Canton
Auto Supply company of Canton, Mo., for several years.  He was critically
hurt in an automobile accident at Canton seven years ago and had been in
failing health since then.
          Mr. Hancock was born at Edina, Mo., July 14, 1899, a son of Isaac
Newton, and Lodina Bodkin Hancock.  His marriage to May Henkenmeyer took
place May 18, 1923.  He was a member of St. James Lutheran church.  A son,
Donald G. Hancock, was killed in action in Europe during World War ii.  He
was also preceded in death by a half brother, Harry Lear.
          Surviving are his widow and a brother, Frank Hancock of San
Diego, Cal.
