Funeral services for Sgt. Donald G. Hancock were held Saturday
afternoon at 2 in St. James Lutheran church with the Rev. Titus Lang
officiating. William Fischer sang, with Theodore Wilder at the pipe organ.
Pallbearers were Harold Henkenmeier, Jack Doht, Howard Rutledge, Royal
Watters, Herbert Linneman and Harlan Lear. Military services were held in
Greenmount cemetery. Color bearers were Alvin Michel, Fred W. Hempelman,
James Nielson, Tony Badamo and Hunter Smith. Bob Beaver carried the Purple
Heart colors. Members of the color guard were Walter Stull and nelson
Burve.
