DANIEL AYERS GILBERT HANCOCK, SR.

          D. A. G. Hancock, an old citizen of the vicinity of Argyle, died
at his home Tuesday and was buried at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in a
neighboring cemetery.  The deceased was sixty-six years of age and leaves a
wife and several children.  Cancer of the stomach was the cause of his
death.
