Services for Charles A. Hancock, 78, of 1032 Seventh St., who
died Monday at Broadlawns Polk County Hospital after a week's illness, will
be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in
Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Born in Sullivan County, Missouri, Mr. Hancock came here 25 years
ago from Kansas. He was a truck driver for Davidsons store before
retirement.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Pierce of Des Moines;
two sons, Lawrence of Hartford and Ralph of Gainesville, Ga.; a brother,
Claude, living in California; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
